Treatment for depression
Depression has been described as the mental-health equivalent of the common cold. Many of us do feel ‘down’ from time to time. But for some it becomes so serious that it interferes with everyday activities, making life seem unmanageable.
Depression is a common condition affecting 7–10% of men and 20–25% of women (the higher rates in women may be due to post-natal depression).
